Years of experience

You know you need to raise more money. You’re just not sure where to start.

Your current team — if you’re lucky enough to have one — is maxed out.

You’re writing grants but still scrambling for funding.

Your board keeps saying “fundraise more,” but it doesn’t help.

You have a strong mission, but it gets lost when you translate it for funders.

Traditional support options aren’t cutting it:

Hiring In-House

A limited budget means hiring someone junior who needs a lot of direction — and you're already stretched too thin.

vs.

Consultant

You get a strategy deck that sits on a shelf for three years. Big investment, little long-term follow-through.

You don’t need more to do.

You need the right strategy — and a partner to help you build it.

I help nonprofit leaders get clear on what's working, what's not, and where to focus their fundraising energy for the greatest return.

I bring 15+ years of institutional fundraising experience and a systems-thinking approach to help you build something that lasts — not just a plan that collects dust.

Here’s what that can look like:

  • Fundraising Strategy & Planning

A data-driven assessment of what's working, where the gaps are, and a prioritized plan to grow your fundraising with the right funders. No more guessing.

  • Funder Research & Prospect Development

Targeted research on high-potential foundations and institutional funders, organized by alignment, capacity, and where they are in their grantmaking cycle.

  • Messaging & Narrative

Clear, funder-ready framing for your programs. I help you articulate why your work matters in language that resonates, tailored by funder type.

  • Fundraising Systems & Operations

Database cleanup and workflow improvements to support your fundraising infrastructure as you grow. (Yes, I genuinely enjoy data!)

  • Coaching & Capacity Building

Staff coaching, funder meeting prep, and strategic advising to build your team’s confidence and skills.

I’ll bring fundraising strategy and expertise.

You keep doing the work that matters.

  1. Book a Discovery Call.

Let's talk about where you are, where you want to go, and what's getting in the way. No pitch, no pressure. I’m here for an honest conversation about what might help.

  2. We scope an engagement with clear deliverables.

Every organization is different, so every engagement is different. We'll define the work, the timeline, and what you'll walk away with — whether that's a 2-month project or ongoing advisory support.

  3. We partner.

I'm in your corner. I bring the strategy, the funder expertise, and the systems thinking. You bring the mission knowledge and the relationships. Together, we build something that works.

What to Expect

Clarity & Direction

No more spinning your wheels on fundraising activities that don't move the needle. I help you identify the highest-impact strategies for your organization right now — and build a clear path forward so your team knows exactly where to focus.

Your Relationships

I respect the work you've already done. The relationships you've built stay with your organization — always. I work alongside your team, not in place of it, and my goal is to make you more effective, not more dependent on outside help.

Consistency for your ROI

Every engagement is designed to leave your team stronger, more confident, and better equipped to grow your fundraising independently. The strategy, the systems, the skills — they stay with you.

FAQs

  • Most consulting engagements give you a strategy document and wish you luck. I work differently. My engagements are hands-on and collaborative — I'm not just telling you what to do, I'm helping you build the systems and skills to actually do it. I believe in building strategic partnerships, not deliverable drop-offs.

  • It depends on what you need. Some clients come to me for a focused 2–3 month project — like building a fundraising plan, developing a funder pipeline, or cleaning up their systems. Others want ongoing advisory support on a retainer basis. Every engagement starts with a discovery call where we figure out the right scope together. I'll always be honest about what's realistic given your capacity and timeline.

  • My sweet spot is institutional giving — foundations, corporate funders, and government grants. I’ve secured first-time grants from major national foundations and built institutional portfolios of 40–65 funders. That said, I bring a generalist's perspective to fundraising strategy overall. If your biggest opportunity is actually in major gifts or annual fundraising, I'll tell you that — and help you think through the right approach, even if it's not my primary lane.

  • I’ll tell you. Seriously! If I don't think that I’m the best person to help you, I’ll say so. I’d rather point you in the right direction than take on work that isn’t going to serve you well. Even if we don't end up working together, I’m always happy to share my honest perspective on where to focus your energy. That’s what the discovery call is for.

  • If someone guarantees fundraising results, that's a red flag. Fundraising takes time, consistency, and the right strategy — and results depend on where you’re starting and what you're building toward. What I can promise is that I bring senior-level expertise, a clear-eyed assessment of your situation, and a genuine commitment to your success. If I take on an engagement, it’s because I believe I can make a meaningful difference.
